A position for a CNRS Research Engineer in Biological Experimentation and Instrumentation is available at the Valrose Institute of Biology in Nice.

The engineer will be responsible for implementing subcellular, cellular, and tissue imaging techniques and developing image analysis tools to address the scientific questions raised by the teams using the photonic imaging platform.

The employee will work at the PRISM Photonic Imaging Facility at the Valrose Institute of Biology, located on the Valrose campus of Université Côte d’Azur. He or she will work under the supervision of the imaging engineer in charge of the imaging facility and will interact regularly with the facility’s two scientific coordinators.

The Photonic Imaging Platform provides state-of-the-art equipment and expertise to research groups that use a wide variety of biological models (cultured cells, yeast, C. elegans, Drosophila, zebrafish, mice) to address a range of scientific questions spanning from basic research to its biomedical applications.
