Description
Each year, the SBCF awards grants to doctoral or postdoctoral students who present their research in cell biology (in the form of a poster or oral presentation) at international conferences. Applications are reviewed three times a year for all conferences beginning at least one month after the deadline for each session.Conditions
The eligibility requirements are: - Be in at least the second year of a Ph.D. program or a postdoctoral fellowship and not have received a travel grant from the SBCF in the past 3 years - Be a presenter (either a poster or an oral presentation) - Be a member of the SBCF (the principal investigator and the research team must also be affiliated with the SBCF) - Participate in a conference taking place at least one month after the grant application deadline - Include the SBCF logo on your poster or in your presentation slides - After the conference, a .pdf file of the poster or slides (SBCF support) and a half-page text outlining the benefits of participating in the conference must be sent to the SBCF.List of documents to submit
The application form must be accompanied by a single PDF file containing the following: 1) Your resume (1 page) 2) Cover letter 3) A copy of the abstract submitted to the conference Please note: Incomplete applications will not be considered.
