Dear Colleagues,

We would like to bring your attention to a UNIA/EMBO workshop on Actin and Mechanotransduction that we are organising this coming November (11 – 13) in the lovely town of Baeza, in the South of Spain. We believe that the program is very attractive, with many great researchers. The workshop is limited to 50 participants to favour informal interactions between participants. All participants are encouraged to present their work either in a poster or as an oral presentation. Many oral presentations will be selected on abstracts.

On the practical side, to reach Baeza, most of you in Europe have to fly to Madrid and to take an organised shuttle.
Participants are expected to arrive in the early afternoon on Sunday, Nov. the 10th, at the Madrid International Airport. The bus trip then is about 4h.
If you still feel like going back home after having discovered Baeza, you can be at home on Wednesday, Nov. the 13th, in the evening…

Fees for registration (175 €) and accommodation (150 €) are reasonable.

We are looking forward to meeting you there.

Best wishes,

Alexis, Pekka and Miguel
