Associate Professor position in adrenal medulla neuroendocrinology

An Associate Professor position (CNU 64-65-69), entitled Pathophysiology of the adrenal medulla, is open for recruitment on a rolling basis in the NorDiC laboratory – Inserm U1239 (https://neuroendocrino.univ-rouen.fr/) at the University of Rouen Normandy.

Summary: The candidate’s scientific project will focus on mechanisms associated with pheochromocytoma, a neuroendocrine tumor of the adrenal medulla. In particular, it may explore the regulation of vesicular and membrane trafficking within chromaffin cells, the role of extracellular vesicles in communication with the adrenal cortex, or the role of the tumor microenvironment. For the teaching component, the associate professor will contribute to bachelor’s and master’s programs in the Chemistry-Biology-Health field, mainly through teaching in biochemistry and cell biology.
