The Institut Curie comprises a hospitaland a world-class multidisciplinary Research Center combining research in cell and developmental biology, genetics, epigenetics, immunology, soft matter physics, organic and medicinal chemistry. It includes over 3,000 researchers, physicians, clinicians, technicians, and administrative staff. The institute facilities include advanced imaging, single-cell and high throughput sequencing, bioinformatics, proteomics, metabolomics, cytometry, CRISPR-based screening and animal housing  . In addition, the hospital proximity provides access to large clinical databases and sample collections.

As part of its research strategy, the Institut Curie is recruiting a Junior Group Leader to the Genetics and Developmental Biology Department   located in central Paris in an exceptional scientific environment within PSL University.

We are looking for outstanding candidates who will complement the strengths of the Research Center in areas including stem cells, tissue growth and morphogenesis, epigenetics, genomics, integrated physiology, and synthetic embryology. We encourage research programs that will advance our understanding of normal and pathological development using a variety of animal and organoid models. Laboratory space for 6-8 people and a competitive start-up package will be provided. Successful candidates should meet criteria to obtain national and international grant funding.
