After the success of the two editions on “Cell Biology of Coronaviruses”, the French Society for Cell Biology organizes a day dedicated to Neurons with a great lineup of speakers: Filipo Del Bene, Volker Haucke, Zdenek Lansky, Sandra Maday, Etienne Morel, David Perrais, Erin Schuman and Travis Thomson.

This day “Cell Biology of Neurons and Beyond” will be held on January 27, 2023 in a hybrid format (virtual/in-person in Paris).

The objective of this meeting is to gather cell biologists working on neurons and other systems around the topics of autophagy, cytoskeleton, membrane dynamics and translation.

Please see the final program below.
8 abstracts have been selected for short talks, and other applicants have been invited to present posters for exciting discussions along the day! (PS: if you have submitted an abstract but have not received the confirmation by email (poster or oral), please contact us)

Throughout the day, an Akenium cartoonist, Guillaume Monnain, will transcribe the most striking elements of the presentations.

We look forward to meeting you soon !

Florence Niedergang, President of the SBCF
and the organizing committee, Pascale Bomont, Carsten Janke and Guillaume van Niel
