The conference “Endoplasmic Reticulum Functions in Physiology and Pathology” focuses on broad and overlapping topics related to the functions of the endoplasmic reticulum with particular emphasis on protein folding and quality control mechanisms, functionality of the secretory pathway, interorganelle communication, stress signaling in physiological and pathological contexts. The goal is to cover this broad area of investigation by presenting a large spectrum of molecular, cell biological and pathophysiological approaches applied to different organisms and models.

The program is a strong mix of excellent speakers covering a broad range of topics including the Lasker 2013 award recipients, Pr Peter Walter and Pr Kazutoshi Mori. This should facilitate a broad understanding of the field, even for early stage researchers or participants new in this area of investigation.

The meeting will take place in October 2 – 3, 2017 at Cordeliers Research Center located in the center of Paris, hosting around 150 participants, and providing opportunities for extensive interactions in a friendly and comfortable environment.

Indications concerning the speed dating event will be provided in the near future.
