The fly community of Marseille is pleased to welcome you to the 32nd French Drosophila Meeting.
It will take place from the 9th to the 12th of October 2018 in the Presqu’Ile de Giens at the Belambra Club « Les Criques ».
The Annual French Drosophila Meeting is a meeting gathering scientists using Drosophila as a model system to address key questions of Biology, both fundamental (morphogenesis, polarity, regulation of gene expression, etc…) and more applied (human disease models, stem cells, etc… ).
It contributes to promote interactions and colloborations within the community. This 2018 edition will span over four days, and will be composed of 8 thematic sessions covering different aspects of developmental and cell biology (see the conference programme). Our objective is to organize a conference of high scientific level within a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. With that in mind, we have successfully invited 8 prominent internationally renowned experts.
This meeting is traditionally very open and lively, and we have taken care of preserving enough time for discussion and mixing between students and researchers at different stages of their career.
