About

I am a professor of molecular and cellular genetics at the Université Claude Bernard Lyon1. For the past 30 years, I have worked on NFB signal transduction pathway, cellular stresses (protein misfolding/aggregation, oxidative stress), proteasome and autophagy degradation processes. I am currently heading a project aiming at determining the involvement of the autophagic process in the maintenance of ER architecture and functionality of muscle fibers in the team of Dr Vincent Gache. During the development of those projects, I supervised 4 PhD students and 13 Master 2 students.
