Job Description:
As part of the MOSAIC project development, a research project of excellence supported
by the University of Lille and France 2030, we are recruiting a manager to lead our new
technological platform dedicated to the culture of human induced pluripotent stem
cells (hiPSC) and the design of organ-on-chip systems. This strategic role requires
strong skills in cell culture and proven expertise in handling hiPSC, including their
culture, cryopreservation, and in vitro differentiation.
Main Responsibilities:
- Establish and optimize protocols for iPSC culture, cryopreservation, and
differentiation. - Develop and coordinate in vitro differentiation methods in collaboration with
partner laboratories of the MOSAIC project, including the production of
specialized cells such as hepatic, pancreatic, intestinal, pulmonary, neuronal
cells - Ensure the transfer and training of methods to both internal and external teams,
thereby guaranteeing operational excellence and adherence to quality standards. - Contribute to the definition of technological and scientific development
strategies for the platform, in close collaboration with scientific management. - Supervise and lead the technical team, ensuring deadlines are met and projects
are executed effectively. - Define and guide technological and regulatory intelligence.
- Maintain and guarantee smooth relationships with administrative bodies and
regulatory authorities (ensuring compliance with regulations and commitments
across all site facilities). - Propose an investment plan and consolidate it within the allocated budget.
- Ensure the proper management of all service provisions on the platform.
- Oversee the smooth operation of technical installations.
Candidate Profile : - PhD in Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or a related field.
- Proven expertise in iPSC culture and in vitro differentiation.
- Experience in developing and implementing iPSC culture and cryopreservation
protocols. - Ability to work in collaboration with various scientific and industrial partners.
- Demonstrated managerial skills, with the ability to train and guide
multidisciplinary teams. - Excellent organizational skills, scientific rigor, and the capacity to innovate in an
advanced research environment.
