DPG meeting in Dresden March 8-13 2026: guest country France

(FR) France will be the "country of honor" at the next German Physical Society (DPG) March meeting in Dresden, March 8 - 13, 2026:

The program of the meeting includes a binational symposium titled "Soft, Active and Alive: Emergent Properties in Living Matter", as well as numerous parallel sessions at the interface of physics and biology (list below) with invited and contributed talks from French and German researchers.

This year researchers working in France will be even more warmly encouraged to participate than usual, including (but not only) to contribute talks. The abstract deadline for both oral and poster presentations is December 1, 2025. Of potential particular interest to this community, the Biological Physics division will have a franco-german session on *Bacterial Biophysics*!
