À propos

After earning a Master 2 degree in Cancerology from the Lebanese University in 2016, I completed my PhD in Cellular Biology in 2020 at Université de Rennes 1. My research focused on the toxicity and uptake of polymer nanoparticles by HepaRG cells and human macrophages. The aim of this work was to optimize therapeutic strategies for patients with hepatocellular carcinoma, and it led to the publication of three papers. A year later, I joined the University of Artois as a teacher-researcher, where I taught courses in human histology and physiology. Concurrently, I conducted a research project investigating the effects of the thymidine phosphorylase enzyme on the blood-brain barrier. Currently, I am working at the School of Industrial Biology (EBI) on the photoprotective properties of Lebanese and French seaweeds collected from the Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. I also teach various courses in molecular and cellular biology. I am eager to join your society to stay connected with leading researchers in the field of cellular biology.
