À propos
I am an Associate professor in exercise physiology at Lorestan University, Khorram Abad, Iran. Since my PhD studies back in 2013 (Tarbiyat Modares University, Tehran, IRAN), I’ve been doing research to explore the cellular and/or molecular mechanisms underlying the pathophysiology of Diabetic neuropathy; focusing more on mitochondria, as the “powerhouse” of the neurons. In fact, I have started my research by studying axonal motor proteins (kinesin-1, kinesin-3 and dynein), which specifically transport mitochondria on microtubules, and then I decided to focus on regulatory factors of this motor proteins more. In 2019, I came Institut NeuroMyoGèneCNRS, Bénédicte CHAZAUD team (UMR 5310 - INSERM U1217Université de LyonUniversité Claude Bernard Lyon 1) to learn more about studding myogenic program under the supervision of Julien GONDIN.
