A 3-year ANR-funded postdoctoral position is available in the Dumont Lab at the
Institut Jacques Monod in Paris, France.
We study the mechanisms of chromosome segregation in meiosis and mitosis.
This project focuses on the genomic determinants of centromeres and
kinetochores in C. elegans oocytes, using cutting-edge single-cell genomics, in
collaboration with the Institut Curie Single Cell Initiative.
We are looking for a motivated postdoc with:

  • A Ph.D. in biology,
  • At least one first-author publication,
  • Solid expertise in genomics; experience in bioinformatics is a plus.
    The successful candidate will lead experimental design and data analysis. The lab
    is embedded in a dynamic and international cell biology department, with
    excellent platforms. English is the working language; no French required.
    Start date is flexible but before Jan 1st 2026; visa and relocation support available.
    Salary starting from ~€2,500 gross/month, based on CNRS salary grids, with full
    French social security coverage (healthcare, retirement, unemployment).
