1st Annual Meeting of the Nucleic Acid Immunity Society, Oct 14-16, 2024, Avignon, France
We cordially invite you to the first annual meeting of the newly founded non-profit Nucleic Acid Immunity Society in the picturesque city of Avignon, in France, October 14-16, 2024.
The NAIS (https://www.nai-society.com/) is an academic scientific international society incorporated in Luxembourg, governed by a Board of expert scientists in the field of nucleic acid immunity. This first annual meeting of the society is the continuation of a tradition of annual meetings on the topic of nucleic acid immunity for several years, with the last two meetings held 2022 in Edinburgh and 2023 in Dresden. NAIS was initiated at the Edinburgh meeting, founded in Dresden, and with its foundation counted already more than 150 members, reflecting the high interest in the topic. Understanding nucleic acid immunity is essential for the development of nucleic acid therapeutics, including siRNA and mRNA. Besides the unique opportunity to meet leaders in the field, the meeting also offers a platform to get in touch with leading companies developing nucleic acid therapeutics.
Keynote lectures will be given by:
Shizuo Akira, Osaka University
Zhijian ‘James’ Chen, UT Southwestern
Richard Youle, NIH
Besides the keynote lectures, the scientific program features talks given by 22 highly recognized scientists in the field of nucleic acid immunity. In addition, 10 short talks will be selected from abstracts, and up to 100 posters can be accepted. There will be poster sessions with poster pitches. For more information please see the attached flyer and the website https://www.nai-society.com/nais24-avignon.
The number of participants is limited, so we recommend to register and submit an abstract as early as possible to secure your participation at the meeting.
We are very much looking forward to seeing you all at the 1st Annual Meeting of the NAIS in Avignon and having an exciting meeting with top-notch science, interesting discussions, and great networking opportunities.
Should you have any questions or require assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us (Simon Goergen) at contact@nai-society.com.
