The French Societies for Cell Biology and Developmental Biology organize their 2nd joint meeting in April 26-29 2017, Lyon, France

The conference will be held in front of the wonderful park Tête d’Or in Lyon, the capital of gastronomy that has been listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

Presentations from prestigious invited speakers and selected short talks will cover latest progresses in gene regulation, nuclear architecture, cell polarity, cell migration, signalling, morphogenesis, reprogramming, signalling and emergent models.

Time will be devoted to stimulate exchanges and share expertise within and outside the congress site.

June 26-July 2, 2016 – ICISE – Quy Nhon, Viet Nam

This conference will cover the fundamentals, recent advances and emerging issues related to mechanobiology. It will provide a unique opportunity to advance knowledge and understanding in the area of force-sensing in biology. This field intrinsically implies interdisciplinary approaches combining biology with physics, optics and computer modeling. Moreover, mechanobiology is being increasingly appreciated as being of primary importance in a plethora of biological processes, including development and cancer.

Sessions will give a large part to oral presentations selected on abstracts

Financial support available for a few Ph. D Students upon application.

Information’s on scientific program and registration: http://rencontresduvietnam.org/conferences/2016/mechanobiology/

Deadline for abstract submission in order to be selected for oral presentation and for Ph. Student applications: March 3 1st.

The conference will be organized at the International Center for Interdisciplinary Science and Education in Vietnam (ICISE) by Rencontres du Vietnam, a scientific non-profit organization. The venue is located at a beautiful beach in Vietnam, thus allowing participants also to enjoy the nature, culture while having rich scientific discussion. The meeting of the American Society of Cell Biology (ASCB) this year was held jointly with the International Federation of Cell Biology (IFCB), from December 6-10, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. As the premier meeting for biomedical research worldwide, this was a great opportunity to learn about the latest research in your field and network with leaders and peers in core cell biology, biophysics, neuroscience, stem cells, and genomics, to name a few.  It was also be a great occasion to promote cell biology as a world science.
