“Cell la vie!” – 3rd edition
Pasteur Institute, Paris – Oct 21-23, 2026
Dear Colleagues,
For its 3rd edition, the meeting “Cell la vie!” (formerly known as “Building the Cell”) organized by the French Society for Cell Biology will be held at the Pasteur Institute in Paris on October 21–23, 2026.
This edition will address the needs and challenges of multidisciplinary research that combine state-of-the-art imaging, biochemistry, physics, and advanced computational analysis, including AI-driven data and processing, to investigate all fundamental aspects of life. A particular emphasis will be placed on how recent advances in multiscale microscopy have transformed research in cell biology.
Time will also be dedicated to social gatherings and networking to foster interactions across disciplines.
We are preparing an exciting lineup of invited speakers, and the program will include several short-talk slots selected from submitted abstracts.
Please save the date, and stay tuned for more details!
We look forward to welcoming you in Paris in 2026.
Warm regards,
On behalf of the organizing committee
Stephanie Lebreton, Etienne Morel, Marc Tramier, Melina Heuze
and Isabelle Tardieux – SBCF president.
