Félicitations à Chantal THIBERT et Christopher THOMAS
Après une première sélection du conseil de la Société de Biologie Cellulaire de France ayant attribué le prix du conseil à Charlotte CANET-JOURDAN, 14 images étaient en concours pour le vote du Grand Public qui a été clôturé le 31 octobre dernier.
Les images préférées du Grand Public pour le concours photos 2025 de la SBCF sont celles de Chantal THIBERT et Christopher THOMAS, bravo et merci à eux !
La SBCF remercie les près de 1000 participants qui par leur curiosité, leur intérêt pour la science et pour la beauté du Vivant ont fait vivre la communauté de biologie cellulaire de France tout au long de l’été et lors de la fête de la science.
Merci également à tous les candidats qui ont pu faire découvrir à un vaste public la beauté du vivant à l’échelle microscopique soulignant au passage la qualité de la recherche en biologie cellulaire en France.
Une exposition Art&Science reprenant les images les plus populaires de ce concours sera coordonnée par le conseil de la SBCF et circulera à l’occasion de nombreux évènements de médiation scientifique. Restez connectés et informés.

After an initial selection by the council of the French Society for Cell Biology (SBCF), which awarded Charlotte CANET-JOURDAN, 14 images were further submitted to the general public vote, which closed on October 31.
The general public’s favorite images for the SBCF’s 2025 photo contest are those provided by Chantal THIBERT and Christopher THOMAS. Congratulations and thank you to them!
The SBCF would like to thank the nearly 1,000 participants who, through their curiosity and interest in science and the beauty of life, animated the French cell biology community throughout the summer and during the “Fête de la Science” events.
We also thank all the candidates who were able to reveal to a wide audience the beauty of life at the microscopic level, a remarkable achievement that also highlighted the quality of the research in cell biology in France.
An Art&Science exhibition featuring the most popular images from this contest will be coordinated by the SBCF council and will tour numerous science outreach events. Stay connected and informed.
