Ready for “Cell la Vie!” 2026 ? Program & Registration are now live !

The meeting “Cell la vie!”, organized by the French Society for Cell Biology, will take place at the Pasteur Institute in Paris from October 21–23, 2026.

This edition will focus on the needs and challenges of multidisciplinary research in cell biology that integrates state-of-the-art imaging, biochemistry, physics, and advanced computational analysis—including AI-driven data processing—to explore the fundamental mechanisms of life. Particular emphasis will be placed on how recent breakthroughs in multiscale microscopy have transformed cell biology, enabling researchers to bridge molecular, cellular, and tissue-level investigations with unprecedented precision and depth.

The meeting will cover recent findings on a broad range of topics including:
– Cell adhesion and environment in homeostasis and disease
– Origin and evolution of cellular complexity
– Membrane dynamics, trafficking and biomolecular condensates
– Cellular interfaces: from cell communication to host micro-organism crosstalk
– Cytoskeleton and cellular dynamics
– Mechanobiology across scales
– Frontiers in cellular imaging: from subcellular structures to multi-cellular systems

The Cell la vie! 2026 scientific program including keynote and invited speakers is available here.

This Cell la vie! edition will also feature an outreach session including:

  • an outreach conference (conférence grand public – en français – ouverte à toutes et à tous- Manuel Thery- Vidéomapping géant réalisé pour l’exposition « Architectures vivantes »).

For detailed informations on the meeting, please go to our website!

Time will also be dedicated to poster sessions, social gatherings and networking to foster interactions across disciplines.

We look forward to welcoming you in Paris for this exciting edition of “Cell la vie!”.

Early Birds Registration & Abstract Submission for oral communication: July 1st 2026

Don’t forget to register and submit your abstract! Lots of short talks will be selected from abstracts!
